Christopher Luper, from Bartlett Illinois, received his bachelor’s in studio fine art through Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a specialization in painting. He then obtained his master’s in studio fine art at Arizona State University with a specialization in foundry.  Currently employed through ASU as a faculty associate teaching foundry, Tempe campus, and Pour captain at Bollinger Atelier, blue chip art foundry in Tempe Arizona.

His work usually revolves around a certain level of introspection and the importance of looking inward to engage and process the world around us truly. His thesis works depicted a segmented gesture sculpture, “Noted Gesture”, symbolic of introspective thought processing. The beauty of abstract sculpture never disappoints when having a constantly evolving meaning through the eyes of each viewer.
